As we wrap up our spring semester at The Discovery Center, we will have a blast exploring the wonders of matter together in our local science center. We'll cherish the memories we've made and the knowledge we've gained these past few months with our co-op family. Until our summer session begins, we'll miss everyone dearly and eagerly anticipate our next adventures in learning and enriching activities. We will be praying over you all during our brief time off! This will also be an exciting day with our awards ceremony, celebrating our students' accomplishments in memorizing the Armor of God passage out of Ephesians this semester! We believe history is an important subject in shaping our future. We meet once a month to study history together, and this semester, we are beginning a new study on missionaries from around the world, including aspects of geography and language arts. This will allow the students to grasp the depth of God's provision, deepen their faith, understand suffering, and become equipped to navigate life's trials.

We’re thrilled to be partnered with such an incredible nonprofit like Convoy of Hope! God did what He does best and blessed us with open doors and access to Convoy of Hope’s first-ever feedOne curriculum, where Convoy of Hope seeks to help kids learn to feed kids in need. It’s an awesome program and we feel honored to be a part of this. One of our missions here at The Olive Branch is to develop a biblical character while cultivating an innovative business mindset with a strong work ethic. We study Economics once a month and believe Convoy of Hope is a wonderful not-for-profit business that encourages our students to do just that!

We have been looking forward to the first day of our spring semester in 2024! We are excited to gather together and see our friends again. With a few new families joining us, it is shaping up to be a great year with The Olive Branch! Our first topic of study is Theology at a beautiful local church in town, where we will begin our new Not Consumed curriculum and introduce our new Obey Bible study booklets. Prayers for a blessed semester are welcomed!
